Jesus Christ is God’s Son who left heaven, came to earth, and became a living testimony of the love of God. Jesus was born of a virgin named Mary who was chosen by God to give birth to the Messiah. Jesus lived a perfect life, but was tempted in every way possible so that he might relate to us. He knows everything that you are going through because he experienced the same things. Jesus also healed the sick, helped the lame to walk, made the blind see, and the deaf hear. He was loving and selfless, the ultimate servant, caring only about helping those around him.

      When his time on earth was over, Jesus was whipped, beaten, laughed at, persecuted, and nailed to a cross. The good news is that he rose from the dead three days later. This was all a part of God’s plan to save the world from sin. Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice in order that we might be saved from our sins and spend eternal life in heaven with God. All we have to do is believe that Jesus is God’s Son, that he died for our sins, that he rose from the dead. Once we ask God to be the ruler of our lives we become his children forever. It says in the Bible in Romans 10:9,10…
          
            "...If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the    dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting  in salvation."

      Jesus doesn’t care about all of the horrible things you have done. He came to save you from a life of destruction. You don’t have to be perfect before you can accept Jesus as your Lord. You just have to be willing to let God change you and make you more like him. As it says in Romans 5:8…
          
            "God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us!"
